PADI EFR (emergency first response) First Aid & CPR course

During this course, you're not only boosting your self-confidence, but also your ability to lend a helping hand to others. Because, really, what could be more wonderful than the feeling of knowing you can contribute to saving someone's life?

The PADI Emergency First Response course is a training adventure that doesn't require getting wet, but it's all about making a splash when it comes to helping others in need.

In this course, you'll not only gain valuable knowledge but also the satisfaction of knowing you have the skills to assist people in life-threatening situations. It's all about providing a helping hand when it matters most.

Throughout the course, you'll cover not just primary prevention measures but also the follow-up steps of primary care (secondary prevention measures). You'll discover how to respond effectively until professional emergency services arrive. Plus, you'll learn how to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator), perform CPR when someone has no pulse, and address severe bleeding.

The beauty of this course is that it's not limited to divers; non-divers are welcome too! The EFR certification is a recognized first-aid credential that can save lives, whether you're underwater or on dry land!

Here's what we'll cover during the course:

Primary Care (CPR) - This section teaches you the steps and techniques to handle life-threatening emergencies. You'll practice eight skills for assisting patients who aren't breathing, lack a pulse, may have a spinal injury, are in shock, or have severe bleeding. You'll learn how to perform CPR and continuously monitor the patient, providing them with the best possible chance of survival until professional medical services arrive.

Secondary Care (First Aid) - Since many medical conditions aren't life-threatening, and professional medical help may be delayed or unavailable, this course teaches you how to provide first aid to relieve a patient's pain and prevent further harm. You'll learn to recognize and treat various types of injuries and conditions, and you'll practice bandaging and splinting.

Whether you're young or old, everyone is welcome to participate in this valuable course! And the best part is that this course only takes one day to complete.
